High Country Line Construction seeks a Traveling Safety Specialist II to oversee safety on electric construction projects across worksites. You will investigate incidents, mentor safety staff, and ensure adherence to regulations while developing site-specific plans and safety programs.

You will collaborate with Operations leadership, participate in meetings, and travel as required to support project sites across the assigned area.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in environmental, health, and safety (EHS) field roles is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least one safety certification is preferred (CSHO/CHST/SMS/SSH/CSP).
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety/Health Management or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute.

Responsabilités

• Conduct accident investigations with root-cause analyses.
• Support incident case management and documentation in Operations.
• Develop site-specific safety plans and review job hazard analyses.
• Lead safety meetings and training on hazards and recognition tools.
• Perform site visits to observe safety behaviors and conditions.
