Job summary

Post Brothers in Washington, DC seeks an Assistant Construction Safety Manager to serve as an on-site safety resource, conducting daily field oversight and supporting contractors in maintaining a safe, compliant work environment. This role reports to the on-site Construction Safety Manager.

Responsibilities include field safety walks, verifying fall protection and PPE, assisting in pre-task planning, leading safety kickoff meetings, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and CQSA standards.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA-10 certification is required.
• OSHA-30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Field safety oversight and hazard correction on site.
• Audit fall protection and PPE compliance daily.
• Support contractors in pre-task planning and safety documentation.
• Lead safety kickoff meetings and consult with project teams on safety planning.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, CQSA, and contract requirements.
