Job summary

Hodess is seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to support construction operations and help maintain a safe, compliant jobsite environment. This is a hands-on, field-based role that collaborates with project management, field supervision, craft employees, subcontractors, and GC safety personnel to identify hazards and enforce safety expectations.

The position requires OSHA 30 certification and construction safety experience, with a preference for semiconductor/high-tech projects.

Qualifications

• Construction safety experience required.
• Review and interpret JHAs/JSAs, RAMs, PTPs, permits, and other safety docs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and safety audits.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA, company, client, and project safety requirements.
• Identify unsafe conditions and lead corrective actions with field supervision.
• Coordinate safety with project management, subcontractors, and GC safety reps.
• Assist with incident investigations and reporting.
• Maintain accurate safety records and training documentation.
