Job summary

Hodess is seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to support construction operations and help maintain a safe, compliant, and proactive jobsite environment. This is a hands-on, field-based role working with project management, field supervision, craft employees, subcontractors, and GC safety personnel.

Requirements include construction safety experience and OSHA 30 certification; semiconductor/high-tech construction experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Construction safety experience required.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Semiconductor/high-tech construction experience preferred.
• Ability to identify hazards and communicate safety expectations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections, field observations, and safety audits.
• Maintain field presence and ensure compliance with OSHA, client, and project safety requirements.
• Review JHAs/JSAs, RAMs, PTPs, permits, and other safety docs.
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate corrective actions with supervision.
• Monitor PPE, fall protection, LOTO, MEWP, lifting/rigging, hot work, confined spaces.
