Job summary

Hodess Cleanroom Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to support field operations on semiconductor/high-tech construction sites and help maintain a proactive safety culture.

This hands-on, full-time role conducts daily safety inspections, reviews JHAs/JSAs/RAMs/PTPs, monitors PPE and high-risk activities, and coordinates with project management, field supervision, subcontractors, and GC safety personnel.

Qualifications

• Construction safety experience required.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Experience with semiconductor/high-tech projects preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections, field observations, and safety audits.
• Maintain field presence and ensure OSHA/compliance with safety requirements.
• Review JHAs/JSAs, RAMs, PTPs, permits and safety documentation.
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate corrective actions with supervision.
• Monitor high-risk activities and enforce PPE, fall protection, LOTO and other controls.
• Support safety orientations, toolbox talks, pre-task meetings and trainings.
• Assist with incident investigations and tracking corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records and documentation.
