Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Field Safety Representative/Inspector for the Power Constructors, Inc. sector in Las Vegas or Reno, Nevada.

This field-based role involves supporting safety inspections across multiple field offices and ensuring compliance with plans, specs, and codes. You will lead safety efforts on projects, develop and enforce day-to-day safety policies, coordinate with the safety teams, and provide technical input into investigations, audits, and client questionnaires.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 9+ years of post-education safety inspection experience.
• Safety credentials such as CSP, CHST, CSHM, CIH.
• OSHA 500/501, 10/30/10 ET&D certifications.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Proficient MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Well-defined knowledge of construction inspection principles and codes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety inspection support and oversight on multi-site construction projects.
• Generate and substantiate reports on equipment, materials, and procedures.
• Lead day-to-day safety policies and coordination with safety teams.
• Review safety requirements with contractors and subcontractors.
• Assist with client safety questionnaires, audits, and surveys.
• Provide technical input into investigations and incident reviews.
• Ensure PPE is ordered, maintained, and distributed.
• Maintain records to demonstrate program compliance.
