Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Field Safety Representative/Inspector to support our Power Constructors, Inc. sector across Nevada. This field-based role will coordinate safety inspections, train site teams, and enforce safety policies on multiple projects throughout the state.

Ideal candidates have extensive safety inspection experience, CSP/CHST/CSHM or similar credentials, and strong MS Office skills. Travel to field sites will be required as needed, with a focus on ensuring compliance and safe project

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 9+ years of relevant post-education safety inspection experience.
• Safety credentials (CSP, CHST, CSHM, CIH) and related OSHA certifications.
• OSHA 500/501, 10/30/10 ET&D certifications are preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Proficient MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong knowledge of construction inspection principles, codes, regulations and record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety inspection support and oversight across multi-site projects.
• Create, implement, and enforce day-to-day safety policies on projects.
• Lead safety efforts, reporting, and coordination with safety teams.
• Review contract safety requirements with contractors and subcontractors.
• Maintain records to demonstrate program compliance and conduct site orientations.
• Support safety questionnaires, audits, and safety program improvements.
