Amentum is seeking a Site Safety and Health Specialist to support the SLDA Project site in Parks Township, PA. You will monitor HSE requirements on site, coordinate training cycles, and maintain records to ensure compliance and readiness across field activities.

Your role includes collecting exposure data, interfacing with the project team and health & safety leadership, and fostering a proactive safety culture. This position requires U.S.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years of applied HSE experience in construction, environmental remediation, operations and maintenance, hazardous waste management.
• Ability to wear protective gear and work in physically challenging environments.
• US citizenship and ability to pass security screening for a secret clearance.
• Influence others and guide teams without direct authority.
• Passion for HSE, strong attention to detail, and engagement to foster a safety culture.
• Experience with incident investigation and MS Office proficiency.
• Stable job history with at least one year in current organization.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to commute to Pittsburgh area.

Aufgaben

• Integrates with project team to monitor and oversee site HSE requirements during field work.
• Serve as primary on-site training contact for routine and refresher training.
• Maintain training records using spreadsheets and databases.
• Support collection of worker exposure monitoring data and document measurements.
• Interface with SLDA Project Team, Site Manager, Project Manager, and HSE leaders.
• Promote a positive safety culture as a visible HSE ambassador.
• Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development and self-improvement.
