Job summary

ENFRA LLC is seeking an Area HSE Specialist to support safety across our field projects. You will partner with the HSE Manager to implement safety programs, conduct inspections, and train workers on PPE and hazard controls.

This role requires 5 years of construction safety experience, recognized safety certifications, and strong communication. Travel 50–75% to job sites; on-site work; you will develop JSAs and SHMP components and help prevent incidents.

Qualifications

• Recognized Safety Certification.
• 5 years of previous construction experience.
• 1 year of previous experience as on-site safety person.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED Trainer.
• Specific mobile equipment trainer.
• Working knowledge of government regulations, hazard control methods, and industrial hygiene.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct training and influence organizational behavior.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to tackle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Versed in the industry and company competitors.

Responsibilities

• Develop field safety orientation training.
• Daily inspection of machinery, equipment, and working conditions for compliance and safe practices.
• Observe workers to ensure proper use of PPE.
• Inspect areas for fire-prevention equipment and first-aid supplies.
• Test areas for hazards (noise, chemical) and document findings.
• Prepare reports with corrective action recommendations.
• Investigate accidents to determine root causes and preventive measures.
• Assist in developing JSAs, SHMP, and PSSP.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and safety training.
