Job summary

Family Entertainment Group is seeking a Route Technician to maintain the technical, operational, and guest-ready condition of field-based arcade locations in the United States. This role involves traveling weekly to 4–10 partner sites, inspecting and maintaining games, and ensuring safety and readiness for guests.

The position combines hands-on repair skills with independent ownership, professional communication with partners, and strict adherence to vehicle safety and route discipline.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate has strong hands-on repair ability, a service mindset, and the discipline to work independently across multiple locations while representing FEG professionally with partners and guests.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned partner locations on a weekly route schedule.
• Inspect, test, clean, stock, and maintain games, card readers, kiosks, cranes, merchandisers, redemption equipment, and related equipment.
• Complete routine safety checks, preventive maintenance, repairs, and location readiness reviews.
• Escalate complex repairs, parts needs, safety concerns, or partner issues to the Route Technical Manager.
• Diagnose and repair common mechanical, electrical, hardware, software, payment system, and redemption equipment issues.
• Replace parts, adjust settings, test game play, and confirm equipment is operating properly before leaving the location.
• Restock merchandise, prizes, supplies, cards, tickets, and other operating items.
• Support game moves, installs, swaps, refurbishments, conversions, and special projects as assigned.
• Build positive working relationships with partner General Managers and location teams.
• Communicate professionally regarding service visits, repairs completed, follow-up items, and equipment issues.
• Complete service logs, route checklists, inventory updates, work orders, and repair notes accurately and on time.
• Report recurring issues, partner feedback, safety risks, and improvement opportunities.
