• Perform inspections of traffic control, environmental controls, layout, construction methods and materials under direct supervision.
• Review and assess contractor daily reports and quality control procedures; verify conformance with plans and specs.
• Review material testing procedures and results for contract conformance; measure quantities.
• May perform sampling and in‑place testing of soil, aggregate base, concrete, and asphalt pavement.
