Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) is seeking Construction Inspectors to provide inspection services on road and bridge construction projects across Connecticut for CTDOT, Turnpike, and Transit programs.

Inspect contractor work and traffic control to ensure compliance with plans and specs. Responsibilities include assisting the Resident Engineer, daily reporting, and field testing of materials; candidates must be able to work outdoors and travel to job sites, with some night/weekend work possible.

Qualifications

• Read, write, and understand plans and directions in English.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license.
• Prior experience in construction inspection.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project Resident Engineer with project administration.
• Complete daily reports and measurements for construction work observed.
• Perform daily construction inspections, including sampling and field tests per procedures.
