Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) seeks transportation construction inspectors for municipal and state projects across New York, reviewing plans, documenting work activities and quantities, and inspecting work to assure conformance to approved plans and specifications.

Both field inspection and office engineering are involved. Ideal candidates will have NYSDOT standards experience; NICET/ACI/NACE/NETTCP/ATSSA certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret plans and specifications.
• Familiarity with NYSDOT standards and MURK preferred.
• NICET/ACI/NACE/NETTCP/ATSSA certifications are a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and document work activities and quantity calculations.
• Inspect work to ensure conformance with approved plans and specifications (field and office).
