Job summary

Motion Recruitment seeks an experienced Drive Test Engineer to support RF drive testing and data collection across multiple site locations in Santa Cruz, Brazil. The role requires TEMS experience and hands-on testing in the field with frequent travel between sites.

Candidates should have 2-3 years in drive test engineering, knowledge of test scenarios, and the ability to configure drive test equipment, scanners, and test phones.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Drive Test Engineer.
• TEMS experience is mandatory.
• Hands-on RF drive testing and data collection experience.
• Experience setting up drive test equipment and testing environments.
• Ability to follow established test scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
• Experience setting up and operating scanners, test phones, and drive test kits.
• Ability to perform log file and test report sanity checks.
• Must be flexible and travel frequently between site locations.
• Strong understanding of RF drive test procedures and data collection methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform RF drive tests and collect network performance data.
• Set up and configure drive test equipment, scanners, phones, and testing kits.
• Execute testing based on defined scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
• Ensure all testing equipment is properly configured and operational before testing.
• Monitor test logs during drive testing and identify potential data-quality issues.
• Perform log file sanity checks to ensure data completeness and usability.
• Support post-processing and analysis of collected drive test data.
• Prepare and review drive test reports and testing documentation.
• Travel frequently to different site locations based on project requirements.
• Follow established safety, testing, and field-work procedures.
