Integer Telecom Services Inc is seeking experienced RF Drive Test Engineers to support wireless network performance validation, optimization, and field testing initiatives across the Sacramento and Northern California region. This role is ideal for telecommunications professionals with expertise in radio frequency testing, mobile network performance analysis, and drive test execution across 4G LTE and 5G networks.

Detailed Job Description

As an RF Drive Test Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting field-based performance testing and analysis of cellular networks to ensure optimal coverage, capacity, and customer experience. Working closely with RF Engineering, Network Performance, and Optimization teams, you will collect, analyze, and interpret network data to identify coverage gaps, interference issues, and service quality challenges. The successful candidate will perform drive tests using industry-standard tools, prepare performance reports, and provide recommendations for network improvements. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of wireless technologies, and the ability to work independently in field environments. It offers an excellent opportunity to contribute directly to the performance and reliability of next-generation mobile networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct RF drive testing activities across designated geographic areas
• Collect and analyze wireless network performance data for LTE and 5G environments
• Execute coverage, capacity, benchmarking, and optimization testing programs
• Utilize drive test tools to assess network quality and customer experience
• Identify coverage gaps, interference issues, call drops, and throughput performance concerns
• Perform post-processing and analysis of drive test logs and performance data
• Prepare technical reports and recommend network optimization actions
• Validate network changes, upgrades, and new site deployments
• Collaborate with RF engineers and optimization teams to improve network performance
• Support acceptance testing and network rollout activities
• Ensure accurate documentation of testing methodologies and findings
• Maintain compliance with project procedures, safety standards, and reporting requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in RF Drive Testing, Wireless Network Testing, or Network Optimization
• Strong understanding of 4G LTE and 5G mobile network technologies
• Experience with TEMS Investigation drive test tools
• Experience with XCAL or similar wireless testing platforms
• Knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) engineering principles
• Understanding of mobile network KPIs and performance metrics
• Experience analyzing call quality, throughput, latency, handovers, and coverage performance
• Ability to perform field testing, troubleshooting, and network validation activities
• Experience generating technical reports and performance analysis documentation
• Understanding of wireless network architecture and radio access networks
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel throughout assigned testing regions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with 5G Standalone (SA) and Non-Standalone (NSA) testing
• Knowledge of network optimization methodologies
• Experience with benchmarking and competitor network analysis
• Familiarity with post-processing tools such as Actix or Gladiator
• Exposure to telecom site integration, commissioning, or acceptance testing
