Job summary

WCIRB is seeking a Field Representative for Central/ Downtown Los Angeles. The role is field-based, with work from a home office and travel to insureds’ locations across Koreatown, Hollywood, and surrounding areas.

You will apply workers’ compensation classification knowledge to analyze data, prepare inspection reports, and perform payroll and claims audits. The position emphasizes customer service and independent work to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years Premium Audit experience with an insurance carrier or equivalent.
• Strong writing, analytical and computer skills.
• Proficiency in workers’ compensation payroll auditing and standard classification system.

Responsibilities

• Interview policyholders and inspect premises for proper classification of operations.
• Prepare and submit classification inspection reports.
• Review payroll audits to verify exposure reporting by classification.
• Conduct claims classification audits and prepare audit reports.
• Travel to insureds’ locations and work from a home office as needed.
