Qualus Corporation seeks experienced Relay Testing Professionals at Level III, Senior, and Lead levels in our Field Engineering department. You will commission and test protection and control schemes for substations and plants, applying IEDs, SCADA, and IEC-61850 interfaces.

Travel is required to client sites with housing and per diem; relocation benefits and strong mentorship are provided. You will lead testing activities, develop plans, and ensure safety compliance on diverse locations.

Competenze

• 5+ years' experience in relay testing and commissioning in substations.
• Associate degree or equivalent technical training; military equivalents may apply.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field may be classified as Engineers.
• Experience reading One Line and AC/DC diagrams; field work in varied conditions.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel; strong English communication.

Mansioni

• Red-lines design documents across the drawing set (Single Line, AC/DC Elementary, Wiring, BOM).
• Performs End-To-End testing and IED testing with automated test sets (e.g., Doble 6150, Omicron, Manta).
• Identifies risks in testing and commissioning of protection/control schemes.
• Develops test plans and risk assessments for protection & control systems.
• Leads people and tasks within projects and conducts weekly site safety inspections.
• Supports policies and procedures; travels to client sites with housing and per diem.
