Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to support reimbursement and patient services for a specific drug. You will educate offices on reimbursement processes, manage prior authorizations, and coordinate with manufacturers to optimize patient access.

Travel is required across assigned territories, with strong emphasis on building relationships, data tracking, and performance monitoring to meet client expectations and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or equivalent in related field or experience.
• Experience with Medicare and commercial insurance coverage.
• Strong medical reimbursement experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy.
• Oncology product experience preferred.
• Healthcare industry experience including insurance verification, prior authorizations, and/or claim adjudication.
• Must be able to deliver and document benefit investigation outcomes and provide status reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote education for reimbursement challenges and support services.
• Educate on Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, and Medicare/Commercial coverage.
• Collaborate on case management, billing and coding updates, and claims processing.
• Set up appointments and perform outbound calls to targeted offices; coordinate with physicians and manufacturers.
• Monitor program performance via CRM dashboards and quarterly client reports.
• Research provider information for reimbursement databases and maintain provider profiles.
