Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to support reimbursement and patient services across a designated territory, including benefit investigations, prior authorizations, and appeals. Qualifications

• 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of healthcare related reimbursement experience.
• Strong medical reimbursement experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and on-demand reimbursement education for office staff (Lunch & Learns, Dinner presentations).
• Educate on Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, and Medicare/Commercial coverage.
• Perform reimbursement support in case management, billing and coding updates, and appeals with collaboration from case managers.
• Set up appointments and conduct outbound calls to targeted offices; manage backlog casework.
• Monitor program performance and provide trend reporting to clients and management.
• Research provider information for reimbursement databases and maintain FRM CRM records.
