Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to support reimbursement and patient services for a specific drug, educating offices on payer landscapes and benefits, with remote and on-site training. The role involves frequent travel, account coordination, and collaboration with physicians and manufacturer representatives to optimize patient access and program outcomes.

Responsibilities include case management, education delivery, and performance monitoring.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of healthcare related reimbursement experience.
• Strong medical reimbursement experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy.
• Experience supporting oncology products preferred.
• Experience in insurance verification, prior authorizations, and/or claim adjudication.
• Must have Medicare and commercial insurance coverage experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and on-demand education for office staff on reimbursement challenges and available support services.
• Educate on Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, and Medicare/Commercial coverage; report weekly and quarterly.
• Manage casework, billing updates, and claims submissions; collaborate with case managers as needed.
• Set up appointments and outbound calls to targeted offices; assist with backlog casework.
• Monitor territory performance via CRM dashboards; identify trends and report to client.
