Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Field Reimbursement Specialist to educate providers on reimbursement and access for specialty medications. The role requires travel up to 50% across territories including Indiana, Michigan and Illinois.

You will liaise with providers, pharmacies, payers and manufacturers to navigate coverage challenges, while leveraging prior authorization, appeals and formulary knowledge to ensure patient access.

Qualifications

• Experience in field reimbursement and access support for healthcare providers.
• Understanding of specialty pharmacy and payer policies.
• Experience with revenue cycle, formulary, prior authorization, coding and appeals.

Responsibilities

• Educate provider office staff on access and reimbursement topics with client resources.
• Resolve reimbursement and coverage challenges to support patient access.
• Collaborate with patient assistance and reimbursement support services.
