Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to lead defined accounts in Illinois within the Respiratory unit. The role requires understanding reimbursement processes, patient access programs, and PHI handling. Travel up to 60–80% and a mix of remote/onsite work are expected.

Responsibilities include supporting the reimbursement journey, educating providers, and coordinating with HUB and other teams to resolve coverage issues. Strong leadership and payer experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, or Master’s, or Bachelor’s with leadership experience.
• Experience in public or private third-party access arena or pharma.
• Strong reimbursement, payer knowledge, and collaboration skills.
• Evidence of managing teams, projects, or resources.

Responsibilities

• Act as extension of HUB; cover reimbursement journey from order to appeals.
• Educate healthcare providers on payer coverage and changes.
• Coordinate with HUB and other departments on reimbursement issues.
• Review patient information and resolve coverage challenges.
• Lead cross-functional partner meetings and drive access strategies.
