Job summary

Amgen Inc. in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager to oversee patient access and reimbursement within a defined geographic region. The role focuses on understanding reimbursement processes, payer requirements, and coordinating with HUB to resolve coverage issues.

Ideal candidates will have deep knowledge in public/private payer systems, experience with managed care and Buy & Bill, and strong leadership for cross-functional teams. Travel up to 40% is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in public or private third-party access or pharmaceutical industry in managed care, clinical support, and/or sales.
• Strong medical reimbursement experience and/or Specialty Pharmacy and Buy & Bill knowledge.
• Proven presentation and facilitation skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Organizational skills and project management experience.
• Experience with hubs and billing, coding, and appeals across physician types.
• Experience with commercial payers, Medicare plans, and state Medicaid in a geographic region.

Responsibilities

• Manage defined accounts within a geographic region for patient access and reimbursement.
• Educate and update healthcare providers on payer coverage changes.
• Coordinate access/reimbursement issues with HUB and other partners.
• Provide information on how products are covered under benefit designs.
• Lead cross-functional partner meetings and drive reimbursement strategies.
