Job summary

Amgen is looking for a field reimbursement professional to support HUB partners across a defined geography in the United States. You will guide payer-related steps from prior authorization through appeals, educate healthcare providers, and resolve coverage challenges to ensure patient access to Amgen medicines.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and travel up to 60-80% as needed.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent combinations of education and extensive patient services experience in pharma.
• Experience directly managing people and leading teams or projects.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with hubs, billing, coding and appeals in pharma.
• Knowledge of commercial payers, Medicare and Medicaid in a geographic region.

Responsibilities

• Act as extension of HUB providing live one-on-one coverage support.
• Educate and update healthcare providers on payer coverage and changes.
• Coordinate access/reimbursement issues with partners, including the HUB.
• Review patient information and resolve coverage challenges.
• Explain product coverage under benefit design to offices.
• Lead cross-functional partner meetings and manage multiple projects.
