Job summary

McKesson, a Fortune 10 healthcare company, seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager to lead reimbursement education across assigned offices. You will handle Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, and claims support, while engaging with providers and manufacturers to optimize patient access.

Travel is required to cover territory and deliver on-site training. Applicants should have 4+ years in healthcare reimbursement, Medicare/commercial coverage experience, and strong presentation skills.

Qualifications

4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience.
4+ years of healthcare related reimbursement experience.
Strong medical reimbursement experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy.
Experience in insurance verification, prior authorizations, and/or claim adjudication.
Must have Medicare and commercial insurance coverage experience.
Proven presentation skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site and on-demand education for the office staff regarding reimbursement challenges and available support services.
Educate on Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, and Medicare/commercial coverage; report activity monthly and quarterly.
Assist with case management, billing and coding updates, and claims submission; collaborate with case managers as needed for escalations.
Set up appointments and perform outbound calls to targeted offices; manage backlog casework and interface with physicians and manufacturer representatives.
Monitor program performance via CRM dashboards; compile and report trend data to clients.
Research and compile provider/manufacturer information for reimbursement databases; build facility profiles in the CRM.
