Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager in the United States to act as a reimbursement and access expert for assigned products. You will analyze payer issues and educate field teams, coordinating with HUB and patient support services to optimize access for patients.

The role requires 5+ years in pharma/biotech and 2+ years in roles involving patient journey navigation, payer, reimbursement, and coding. Knowledge of claims submissions and prior authorization is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience pharmaceutical and/or biotech experience.
• 2+ years’ relevant experience in patient journey navigation, payer, reimbursement, medical billings & coding, specialty pharmacy & distribution, and patient support services engagement.
• In-depth understanding of patient enrollment forms; prior authorization process; appeals; coding, coverage, and payment across all sites of care.

Responsibilities

• Analyze access & reimbursement issues and opportunities; educate office personnel on the patient journey.
• Provide access & reimbursement education to field teams and coordinate with HUB/Patient support services.
• Educate HCPs on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures and coding requirements of payer organizations.
• Inform on how products are covered under benefit design and payer coverage changes impacting patient access.
