Job summary

Syneos Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to serve as the subject-matter expert on reimbursement, access, and coverage issues affecting the company’s products. You will analyze reimbursement challenges and act as the local resource for field teams and management, collaborating across Field Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Public Affairs, State and Government Affairs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of pharmaceutical and/or biotech experience.
• 2+ years of experience in pharmacy, specialty pharmaceutical sales, reimbursement/access, specialty pharmacy & distribution, or patient support services.
• Ability to solve access issues related to both specialty pharmacy and medical benefit products.
• Endocrinology experience preferred.
• Local and national travel required for this position.
• Ability to operate as a “team player” in collaborating with multiple sales representatives, sales leadership, and internal colleagues to reach common goals.

Responsibilities

• Analyze access/reimbursement issues.
• Provide product access/reimbursement education to HCP offices.
• Provide access/reimbursement education to field teams upon approved direction.
• Provide education and support on Specialty Pharmacy issues for pharmacy benefit products.
• Provide information to HCP on how the products are covered under the benefit design (Commercial, Medicare Part D, Medicaid).
• Support patient access to the product by providing subject matter expertise on payer coverage issues complying with policies and SOPs.
