Job summary

DGS Office of External Affairs is seeking a Regulatory Analyst III (Workers' Compensation Investigator) to conduct on-site investigations ensuring compliance with Florida workers' compensation laws. Approximately 75% of time is spent in the field at multiple worksites.

Qualifications include four years of investigative or regulatory experience (or a post-secondary degree), a valid FL driver's license, physical ability for outdoor conditions, and strong data collection and communication skills;

Qualifications

• Four years of investigative or regulatory experience (or post-secondary degree may substitute).
• Valid Florida driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing stairs and walking on uneven surfaces.
• Knowledge of data collection, analysis, interview techniques, and fact-finding investigations.
• Ability to prepare clear oral and written communications and maintain reports.
• Preference for workers' compensation experience and bilingual Spanish/English capability.
