Qualifications

  • Must have a valid Florida driver license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site inspections and complex investigations at various business sites to verify workers’ compensation compliance.
  • Issue stop-work orders, penalty assessments, and related enforcement documents as required by statute.
  • Create and maintain investigative case files; timely enter information in CCAS and related systems.
  • Receive and process payments related to penalties and provide testimony in court when needed.
  • Educate employers on their rights and obligations under the workers’ compensation law.
