Qualifications

• Four (4) years of investigative or regulatory experience required.
• A post-secondary degree from an accredited college or university may substitute for the required work experience.
• Must have a valid Florida driver license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to perform physical activities at construction sites and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and complex investigations to verify workers' compensation compliance.
• Issue, serve and enforce stop-work orders and related enforcement documents.
• Maintain investigative case files and timely CCAS data entry.
• Advise employers on rights, responsibilities and obligations under the law.
• Prepare weekly activity and vehicle logs; support court testimony when needed.
