Job summary

Leidos, headquartered in Reston, Virginia, seeks an experienced RSR Field Engineer to support the BNATCS Radar Surveillance Replacement program. You will represent the program office at RSR sites and coordinate installation and disposition activities at major airports.

The role requires hands-on radar systems experience, FAA training, and the ability to travel up to 75% across critical sites. You will work with a small team to meet aggressive installation schedules and maintain high-quality

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's with relevant experience; degree substitution allowed.
Experience with electrical equipment and systems research, design, and development.
Completion of formal Radar training at the FAA Academy.
Radar certification authority at one or more airports.
Hands-on field experience on Radar systems in the active NAS.
Comprehensive understanding of FAA operational risk management practices.
Ability to work independently and in a small team under an aggressive installation schedule.
Ability to lift 75 lbs.
Professional representation of Leidos to FAA customers.
Knowledge of FAA construction/installation requirements at RSR sites.

Responsibilities

Represent the PO at RSR sites, executing to an aggressive multi-site schedule.
Serve as an RSR SME to program office project, implementation, and engineering leads.
Participate in final planning and site preparation, including site implementation plans and visits.
Provide onsite installation consultation supporting implementation and disposition activities.
