Job summary

Leidos is seeking a qualified Field Engineer to support the BNATCS initiative under the RSR Program Office for FAA. The role involves installation and disposition at busy airports nationwide, with 75% travel to project sites across the country.

You will serve as an RSR SME, collaborating with program office leads and contractors, and you will help plan site implementation and perform on-site coordination per the SOW.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years relevant experience or Master’s with less than 2 years relevant experience.
• Experience with research, design, and development of electrical equipment and systems.
• Ability to perform independently and meet aggressive installation schedule.
• Commitment to high‑quality maintenance practices during RSR implementation.

Responsibilities

• Represent the PO at RSR sites, executing to a multi‑site schedule.
• Serve as an SME to the program office project, implementation, and engineering leads.
• Participate in final planning and site preparation, including site implementation plans and site visits.
• Provide onsite installation consultation supporting implementation and disposition activities per SOW.
