Job summary

Bechtel's Manufacturing & Technology (M&T) is delivering an API manufacturing facility in Houston, TX. As Surveillance Quality Engineer you will implement surveillance activities within the Quality Management System, review quality requirements, monitor non-conformances and assist in corrective actions on a major construction project.

You should have a bachelor's degree with 2–5 years (or 6–9 years) of experience, knowledge of ISO 9001, and strong communication to work with project teams and

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and quality assurance.
• Experience conducting quality assessments on large EPC construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Supports quality surveillance activities per QMS and PQP.
• Prepares Surveillance reports and annual project surveillance schedule.
• Assesses project functions including management, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and startup.
• Reviews nonconforming conditions and ensures corrective actions are appropriate.
