Job summary

Bechtel invites a Quality Auditor Specialist to join the Fab 62 project in Chandler, AZ. You will implement and audit the project Quality Management System, review requirements, monitor non-conformances, and drive corrective actions.

Prepare audit plans and reports, assess QC/QA compliance across construction, engineering, procurement, and startup, and support causal analysis to mitigate risk and protect schedule.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years total experience.
• Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 standard requirements and quality assurance in construction.
• Proven track record leading audits across EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Performs the role of Quality Auditor Specialist on a project.
• Supports the preparation of the annual project Audit Schedule.
• Prepares Audit reports; performs audit completion report-outs as required.
• Prepare and complete quality audit plans, checklists, and conduct quality audits of project Quality Management System (QMS), Project Quality Plan (PQP), and procedures for direct hire and subcontractor scopes of work.
• Audits and monitors functions on project, including project management, engineering, procurement, construction, project controls, commissioning, and startup.
• Reviews and monitors nonconforming conditions and associated corrective actions to ensure QMS compliance.
• Reviews and reports on project quality-related procedures and manuals for compliance with project contract quality requirements, procedures, and design requirements.
• Identifies non-conformances and problems, initiates documented action and verifies implementation of solutions.
• Prepare reports on the effectiveness of the QMS, PQP, and Project Execution Plan (PEP) implementation.
• Participates in the project auditing and monitoring program to verify the effectiveness of the project QMS.
• Reviews project schedules for quality related activities to ensure timely and effective implementation of the PQP requirements.
• Supports causal analysis in conjunction with other project personnel.
