Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Quality Manager I to own the project QC program on a single project under a senior manager. You will keep the ITP current, schedule and witness tests, and write daily QC reports while tracking nonconformances through to closure.

The role is ideal for a field professional who understands failing tests and wants to advance to program ownership, with sponsorship for required certifications and growth into Quality Manager II as you lead larger programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing, special inspection, or contractor QC.
• One of: ACI Grade I, NICET Level II, ICC special inspector, or USACE CQM-C certificate (sponsorship available).
• Able to read specifications and drawings and turn them into a test schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and testing frequency log.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests; verify certifications.
• Write the daily QC report and three-phase meeting records.
• Open, track, and close nonconformance reports with the superintendent and engineer of record.
• Keep submittal, mix design, and material certification files audit-ready.
