Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager I to own the project QC program, keep the inspection and test plan current, schedule and witness field and laboratory tests, and write the daily QC report. You will open and track nonconformances with the superintendent and engineer of record, and ensure submittals and certifications stay audit-ready.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing or QC.
• At least one: ACI Grade I, NICET II, ICC special inspector, or USACE CQM-C.
• Able to read specifications and drawings and derive a test schedule.
• Direct and organized with the ability to tell a superintendent a lift does not pass.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and testing frequency log.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests and verify technician certifications.
• Write the daily quality control report and meeting records.
• Open, track, and close nonconformance reports with the superintendent and engineer.
• Keep submittal, mix design, and material certification files audit-ready.
