Job summary

CoVolt Power seeks a Field Quality Coordinator to support our QA/QC efforts on solar and energy storage projects. You will assist the Quality Manager and Lead Superintendent in ensuring field quality, coordinating inspections, and tracking corrective actions.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of construction QA/QC experience, familiarity with SWPPP and erosion controls, and proficiency in MS Project and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of construction QA/QC experience on large commercial, multi-disciplined, industrial, utility, civil, highway/road, high voltage electrical, solar, or wind energy projects.
• Experience in SWPPP and erosion control is preferred.
• Proven auditing experience and knowledge of ISO quality standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quality advocacy to promote company policies and project goals.
• Provide field support to QA/QC staff and management.
• Assist in assessing quality of work and tracking corrective actions.
• Promote quality achievement and performance improvement.
• Assist in managing quality personnel in audit, inspection, surveillance, and testing activities.
• Support quality program for solar projects including foundations, roads, HV works, substations, and arrays.
• Maintain project plans, specifications, and drawings; review quality records.
• Assist in investigating non-conformance issues and implementing corrective measures.
• Provide quality training to project teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Policies and Procedures and project scheduling.
