Job summary

Gtatelecom in the United States is hiring a Construction Specialist to support fiber and coax telecom construction projects. The role will perform field quality inspections, audits, and documentation to ensure network infrastructure is installed correctly and meets company standards, specifications, and safety requirements.

You will inspect fiber taps, fiber enclosures, amplifiers, nodes, and other coax infrastructure, and capture QC data in Smartsheet.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with field quality inspections for fiber and coax construction.
Strong documentation skills and ability to report findings clearly.
Willingness to travel to multiple field locations as needed.
Ability to manage multiple inspection sites independently.

Responsibilities

Perform field quality inspections on fiber and coax construction projects.
Inspect fiber taps, fiber enclosures, amplifiers, nodes, and other coax infrastructure.
Conduct fiber tap audits and support node upgrade inspections.
Inspect equipment located in vaults or pedestals and document findings.
Capture and upload QC data, photos, observations, and inspection results using Smartsheet.
Identify construction quality issues and coordinate with teams to resolve them.
Ensure completed work meets standards, specifications, and safety requirements.
Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
Travel to multiple field locations to complete inspections.
