Candidate should have 2+ years in inspection within telecom/construction utilities, experience with MSO/telecom operators, and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant inspection experience in telecom, construction or utilities.
• Proficient with Windows and Android; tablet experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to read blueprints and other technical documentation.
• Able to operate testing equipment such as an OTDR.
• Experience with a major MSO or Telecom Operator is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and on time.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication.
• Makes independent work feasible, and works well in a team.
• Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Inspect assigned work locations for compliance with client or company specifications.
• Inspections may include work safety, installation, and troubleshooting compliance.
• Use testing equipment based on client specifications.
• Assist in preparing and developing inspection instructions and procedures.
• Develop project-specific checklists and standards.
• Record and document inspection results in data sheets and forms.
• Submit inspection documentation to supervisory personnel.
• Ensure timely inspections and track/report activities and metrics.
• Travel to work sites and comply with safety standards.
• Follow company/client standards using technical documentation.
• Deliver feedback and supplemental training to employees/contractors as required.
