Job summary

NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company is seeking a Quality Control Fiber Inspector to oversee FTTH/FOB or long-haul fiber construction, restoration, and subcontractor performance. You will ensure builds meet quality standards and contract requirements in a field role with autonomy.

The ideal candidate brings strong wireline fiber construction experience, construction engineering knowledge, and the ability to read maps and blueprints.

Qualifications

• Experience with FTTH/FOB or long-haul fiber construction.
• Field experience in wireline telecom construction/maintenance.
• Ability to read utility maps, prints, and blueprints.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fiber construction and restoration work to ensure quality and contract compliance.
• Review utility maps/prints to identify underground utilities.
• Operate detection equipment to locate and mark underground facilities.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, crews, safety, and field management.
• Resolve customer or homeowner issues related to field activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of field activities.
