Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) is seeking a Quality Improvement Specialist to analyze warranty and field quality data, lead structured problem-solving activities, and coordinate root-cause actions with suppliers.

You will validate containment effectiveness, conduct manufacturing process reviews and quality audits, support service teams, and present risk updates to leadership. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance within the automotive industry.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of automotive industry quality standards and regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze warranty and field quality data to identify trends.
• Lead structured problem-solving activities and quality investigations.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Validate effectiveness of containment and permanent corrective measures.
• Conduct manufacturing process reviews and quality audits.
• Support service and technical teams in understanding field concerns.
• Present investigation status and quality risks to leadership.
• Drive reductions in warranty costs and improvements in customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate field actions, service campaigns, and quality reporting activities.
