Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America seeks a Quality Control Engineering Specialist to coordinate, execute, and monitor overall quality across new vehicle development milestones. The role requires understanding quality expectations and driving improvements.

Responsibilities include analyzing processes, monitoring non-conformities, and ensuring procedures meet standards and legal requirements while supporting certification planning and reporting efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Senior – minimum 2 years related job experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Quality processes and standards understanding.
• Experience with quality management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, execute, and monitor quality across new vehicle development milestones.
• Understand internal/external quality expectations and coordinate quality improvements.
• Analyze the effectiveness of processes and quality management systems.
• Monitor non-conformity and take action on parts or assemblies.
• Ensure procedures and systems meet reference standards and legal requirements.
• Plan, control and monitor corrective actions for audits and report timelines.
• Track and manage certification planning to meet market demands.
• Generate countermeasure reports and drive improvements.
• Inspect non-conforming parts and implement countermeasures.
• Ensure overall quality of car assembly.
• Meet all other assigned requirements.
