Zusammenfassung

DNV Group is seeking a Construction Quality Engineer – Mechanical to provide daily field oversight of mechanical and civil construction activities on refinery projects in the Indiana/Greater Chicago area.

You will verify workmanship, coordinate with Construction, Contractor QC, Commissioning and Operations, and ensure turnover readiness from Mechanical Completion to system handover. Travel and TAR environment experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years experience in mechanical and/or civil construction quality roles.
• Experience performing daily field walkdowns and quality verification.
• Ability to read and apply Job Notes, CWPs, IWPs, and drawings.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Strong collaboration with Construction, Commissioning, Operations teams.

Aufgaben

• Provide field quality oversight for mechanical and civil construction activities.
• Verify workmanship, alignment, and conformance with project requirements.
• Witness and verify inspection and testing per approved ITPs.
• Manage NCRs and ensure closeout of QC documentation.
• Support turnover readiness and Mechanical Completion activities.
