Job summary

DNV Group in Indiana/Greater Chicago area seeks a Sr. Quality Assurance Specialist to provide oversight and technical input into quality control activities for fixed and rotating equipment in shop and field settings.

You will lead audits of suppliers and contractors under the North American Supplier Qualification program, coach teams, ensure QA/QC processes are followed, and develop robust QC programs for large projects and turnarounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in QA/QC within heavy industry.
• Familiarity with industry standards is required.
• TWIC card is required for site access.
• Quality certifications such as ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor, API Q1, or Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and input into QC activities for fixed and rotating equipment in shop and field.
• Audit suppliers/contractors under the North American Supplier Qualification program.
• Lead and ensure client QA/QC processes are followed and provide technical direction.
• Coordinate QC paperwork completion by crafts or supervision.
• Develop and execute a robust QC program and audit function.
• Mentor and coach less experienced specialists and client supervisors.
