DNV seeks a Construction Quality Engineer – ICE to provide daily field quality oversight for electrical, instrumentation, and control systems on refinery projects in the Indiana/Greater Chicago area. You will ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and ITPs, coordinate with Construction and Contractor QC, and drive readiness for Mechanical Completion and system handover.

The role requires reviewing work packages, participating in IFRs, and verifying testing, calibration, and loop

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls construction quality, inspection, or supervision in refining or heavy industrial environments.
• Experience performing daily field walkdowns and workface quality verification.
• Ability to read and apply drawings, work packages, and specifications to field quality verification.
• Experience supporting Mechanical Completion and turnover activities.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain daily field presence and perform walkdowns to verify installation quality and testing readiness.
• Coordinate with Construction supervision and Contractor QC to address quality issues and turnover readiness.
• Review EWPs, Job Notes, CWPs, and IWPs to confirm scope, inspection requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in IFR reviews and provide constructability input for inspection and turnover.
• Verify that ICE work aligns with approved work packages and defined scope boundaries.
• Support documentation closeout and acceptance of work during turnover and commissioning readiness.
