Job summary

GTS is seeking a Quality Control Specialist for Trinity, AL to support construction efforts on the project. You will inspect the work performed by the Aerial and Underground teams, including in-house and subcontractor activities.

This role emphasizes safety, accurate reporting, and timely communications. You must read CATV/Fiber design prints, apply basic hand tools, and coordinate with teammates and clients.

Qualifications

• Must possess knowledge of aerial and underground cable/fiber construction practices.
• Must be able to read and interpret CATV/Fiber design prints.
• VDOT work zone standards knowledge is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a nationwide background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Work independently with little supervision and a strong emphasis on safety.
• Follow instructions and communicate verbally and in writing.
• Complete low- and high-level labor tasks and operate construction equipment.
• Complete daily production reports documenting work performed.
• Perform additional Quality Control duties as assigned by management.
