Job summary

ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC is seeking Building Science + Infrastructure Technicians to perform field tests and observations for various projects in Virginia. You will work outdoors and indoors across weather conditions, documenting results and communicating with project teams daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate/technical degree preferred.
• 0–2 years of related experience.
• Certifications preferred but not required; valid driver’s license.
• Must lift up to 40 pounds, stand/walk for extended periods, and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform field tests and observations for new construction and built environment projects.
• Conduct laboratory testing and observations as assigned.
• Interact with ECS team members, clients, and site representatives daily.
• Attend project meetings with ECS senior staff and clients as requested.
• Document test results and observations in reports.
• Calibrate and use field equipment; assist with maintenance of gear.
