Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager I to own the quality control program on a single project in Wisconsin, under a senior quality manager. You will be responsible for keeping the inspection and test plan current, scheduling and witnessing the tests, and writing the daily QC report.

The role requires 3+ years in construction materials testing or related QC work, and the ability to read specifications and communicate issues to the superintendent.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing, special inspection, or contractor QC.
• Able to read specifications and drawings and turn them into a test schedule.
• Direct, organized, and comfortable communicating concerns to a superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and the testing frequency log against the specifications.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests.
• Open, track, and close nonconformance reports with the superintendent and the engineer of record.
