Fluor is seeking a QC Specialist for site inspections of piping, pressure vessels, and tanks to ensure mechanical integrity and regulatory compliance. You will issue recommendations and Nonconformance Reports and follow up to verify timely repairs.

The role requires planning and documenting inspections, maintaining reports, and working with customers across multiple sites. Travel to local and remote locations is required, with an emphasis on safety and regulatory adherence.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent facilitation and communications skills.
• Ability to use Word and Excel programs for completing forms and weld logs/maps.
• Able to perform QC inspections and determine if work is in conformance with applicable Codes and regulatory requirements.
• CAWI or CWI certification is required.
• 5+ years industry experience in power generation, boilers, construction, and piping and/or refineries.

Aufgaben

• Perform inspections on work as directed.
• Inspect and perform quality testing on materials and equipment during construction and maintenance activities.
• Document inspections and ensure documentation is accurate and timely.
• Review Welding Procedures and Welder Qualifications for applicability.
• Provide accurate and timely reports to customer and management.
• Develop positive relationships with customer and regulatory representatives.
• Travel to local and remote job locations as required.
• Maintain and assemble documents for job packages.
• Comply with Company Drug and Alcohol Policy.
