Job summary

Napakiak Environmental and Construction (NEC) seeks a Quality Control Inspector to perform field inspections of mechanical and piping components at project sites, ensuring conformance to codes, standards, and procurement documents. You will document findings and report deficiencies as CAQ when needed.

Required are a high school diploma with relevant experience, or an associate/bachelor’s degree with additional related experience. U.S.

Qualifications

• High school or GED with 3 years related inspection or testing experience.
• Associate’s degree plus 1 year of related experience in inspection or testing activities.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 6 months of related experience in inspection or testing activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections at project locations by examining equipment and material for required characteristics as per inspection plans and procurement documents.
• Document inspections using the Inspection Report Template.
• Report programmatic deficiencies as Conditions Adverse to Quality (CAQ) where appropriate.
• Be familiar with the scope and limitations of each discipline for which certified.
• Interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, drawings, and specifications.
